Description
ISO 19011 provides guidance on auditing management systems, including the principles of auditing, managing an audit program, conducting management
system audits, and evaluating the competence of individuals involved in the audit process. Applicable to a broad range of potential users, both
experienced auditors and those new to auditing can benefit from the guidance outlined in the standard.
This course explores the internal audit process detailed in ISO 19011:2018 for all ISO management standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001,
ISO 20000, ISO 13485, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949 (formerly ISO/TS 16949). The guidelines provided within represent the best way to build and manage an
audit program and how to plan and conduct audits. A description of activities performed by the individual or individuals managing the audit program,
auditors, and audit teams are included, as well as the addition of the risk-based approach and expanded guidance included in the most recent revision.
